I have led a varied life, lived overseas, travelled and brought up two children. I now live more simply, cooking healthily, enjoying nature, walking, creating, making and growing stuff, browsing antique centres/brocantes, listening to live music in small venues, wandering off the beaten track and generally enjoying life. I regularly visit W.Wales and N.Cornwall but would love to travel more in the UK and Europe (by train rather than plane).
I run my own small creative teaching business which I love and have no wish to ever retire as I have designed my business to be flexible and stress-free. I really don’t see it as work and wake up every morning, excited to go into the studio.
I have two adult children, who I adore and regularly spend time with.
All in all, I am very happy, settled and fulfilled. I enjoy and indeed need time on my own. (I call myself a social introvert). But I also love company, preferring small group or one-to-one get-togethers rather than a crowd and enjoy deep and open conversations.
