Family in Cotswolds/Wiltshire/Devon; daughters aged 20+ in London/South. Chilled, kind, fun, impulsive mum; a former journalist, I now teach ESOL. Try to see glass half full, but when I can't I'd like someone to share that half empty glass. A natural chatter box, but also I am a good listener. Love books and movies, wild seas, dusty backroads, red sand dunes, skies & stars, Fika in Stockholm, fat noodles, icy cold wine, turtles, temples, the Churchill polar bears, brown bears, Devon (Dartmouth) pubs, Lofoten beaches (not been yet - am in love with the pix), snow, my parents, my children and the kindness of strangers.
I like reading on a beach - but not for 2 weeks! There's too much other stuff to see and do. Dislikes: meanness, laziness, bad manners, bad moods, sci-fi. Likes: old movies, The Good Wife, jazz cabaret.
