Hello, thanks for looking in. I'm Tim.
I've variously been described as kind, selfless, sensitive (too sensitive!) well spoken, chatty, highly intelligent, well spoken, well read, always willing to help others and possessing a dry sense of humour. 'Alpha male' is most definitely NOT how people would describe me.
I've had an eventful life in the military, the music business and as a very long serving paramedic, the latter is due to end next year. Too old now!
One day I'll get around to recording the songs I've written, and finishing a screenplay that I've been enjoying writing for a mere ten years.
I do a fair bit of photography (that was my military training - there are a few stories there) mainly on film. Yes film is still out there. Black and white portraits are my speciality. The magic of film is so enjoyable.
I loath intimidation and bullying, and like kindness, compassion, humour and honesty. Speaking of humour, the sitcom Frasier can still make me howl with laughter.
I have my own house, car, cat, hair and teeth and since February an over 60s free travel card. How did that happen? Last time I checked I was 21.
I really want to discover the right lady who I can share a loving caring relationship with for however long we still have in life. I said before that honesty is the best policy so I might as well be up-front - I have absolutely no interest in foreign travel! It seems that makes me quite rare these days.
I do hope 'you' are out there. I'm looking forward to this new chapter in my life.

It's impossible to say what my ideal match is, except to (not unreasonably) say that kindness and honesty are important.
If one sets out with a rigid template then I believe a relationship can't happen. We're all individuals - dovetailing with another means the chemistry has to be right. That's what really matters to me, and I honestly believe 'you' are out there.
